The Middle Office Settlements & Static Data Analyst will be responsible for ensuring accurate trade settlements, maintaining high-quality reference and static data, and supporting post-trade processes across multiple asset classes. The role involves coordination between front office, back office, and external counterparties to ensure timely and accurate trade lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Trade Settlement:

  2. Validate, match, and confirm trade details across equities, fixed income, derivatives, or FX products.

  3. Monitor and ensure timely settlement of trades to avoid fails and penalties.
  4. Liaise with custodians, counterparties, and brokers to resolve settlement breaks or discrepancies.

  5. Review and process corporate actions or lifecycle events impacting settlement.

  6. Static Data Management:

  7. Create and maintain static data for clients, accounts, counterparties, and instruments in internal systems.

  8. Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across platforms.
  9. Manage setup and maintenance of Standing Settlement Instructions (SSIs).

  10. Perform periodic data quality checks and reconciliations.

  11. Reconciliations & Controls:

  12. Perform daily reconciliations between internal systems and external parties.

  13. Investigate and resolve breaks in a timely manner.

  14. Ensure adherence to internal controls, audit requirements, and regulatory standards.

  15. Stakeholder Coordination:

  16. Work closely with Front Office, Compliance, Risk, and Technology teams to ensure smooth trade processing.

  17. Provide support for new client onboarding and account setup.
  18. Assist in automation initiatives and process improvements.
