Abakkus Group
 is searching for a creative and skilled Video Editor to join our in-house content and marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for producing compelling video content for our social media channels, including YouTube, LinkedIn, and Instagram. If you are passionate about storytelling and have a knack for creating shareable content, we want to hear from you.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong portfolio of video editing work and is highly proficient in Final Cut Pro or the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro, and After Effects. This is an exciting opportunity for a visual storyteller to make a significant impact on our brand's digital presence as we embark on expanding the content we create for our Alternates business as well as reach out to retail investors and partners for our Mutual Fund business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and edit raw footage into polished, high-quality videos for various social media platforms.
  • Create engaging content tailored for YouTube, LinkedIn, and Instagram Reels.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop video concepts that align with our brand and campaign goals.
  • Incorporate motion graphics, sound effects, and music to enhance video content.
  • Ensure all video content is consistent with our brand guidelines and quality standards.
  • Manage and organize video files and project assets.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest video trends and social media best practices.
  • Have a say in establishing our brand guidelines with respect to video content.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
  • Proficiency in Final Cut Pro or Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects).
  • Solid understanding of video formats and best practices for YouTube, LinkedIn, and Instagram Reels.
  • Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
