We are looking for a skilled Restaurant Manager to lead our team at Madeleine de Proust, located in the Fairmont chain. The ideal candidate will have 5-12 years of experience in the hospitality industry.
Roles and Responsibility
- Manage daily restaurant operations to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food.
- Supervise and train staff members to achieve exceptional performance standards.
- Implement effective marketing strategies to increase sales and attract new customers.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for guests and employees.
- Monitor inventory levels and control costs to optimize profitability.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for managing a team effectively.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of point-of-sale systems and inventory management software is required.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to resolve guest complaints and issues.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations and labor laws.
