As the SEO Group Lead, you will be responsible for leading the SEO vertical—developing advanced SEO strategies, driving measurable results, and mentoring the SEO team. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients, solve complex SEO challenges, and ensure that SEO remains a key driver of traffic, leads, and revenue for our clients.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Develop advanced and scalable SEO strategies and scope of work for multiple clients across industries.
  • Conduct comprehensive SEO audits and experiments to identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
  • Analyze website performance data to detect gaps in strategy execution and recommend timely solutions.
  • Stay abreast of the latest algorithm updates, SEO trends, tools, and innovations.
  • Drive technical SEO initiatives including schema markup, log file analysis, site speed optimization, and more.
  • Communicate with clients regularly to share progress, address concerns, and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with content, design, and development teams to ensure flawless implementation of SEO strategies.
  • Present strategy roadmaps, results, and insights to internal stakeholders and client executives.
  • Lead the creation of SEO pitches, decks, and client onboarding strategies.
  • Train and mentor team members, assign responsibilities, and help them grow in technical and strategic areas.
  • Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and ensure high-quality output from the SEO team.

Requirement:

  • 8–10 years of hands-on SEO experience with a strong track record in managing enterprise-level SEO projects.
  • Prior experience working in a digital marketing agency is a plus.
  • Expertise in on-page, off-page, technical, and local SEO strategies.
  • Strong command of tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, etc.
  • Advanced knowledge of keyword research, schema nesting, log file analysis, and Regex for SEO.
  • A strong understanding of HTML/CSS, website architecture, and SEO automation tools is a plus.
  • Experience creating and executing SEO pitch presentations for new client acquisition.
  • Proven team leadership and mentoring skills—ability to manage a team, resolve roadblocks, and encourage upskilling.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, client-facing ability, and stakeholder management experience.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities, with a detail-oriented and organized approach to project delivery.
