  • Lead and Manage:

    Oversee the entire civil and structural design process for substation projects, managing teams and ensuring efficient workflows.
  • Design and Engineering:

    Develop and review design calculations, drawings, and specifications for various substation components, including foundations, buildings, and underground systems.
  • Technical Expertise:

    Possess strong knowledge of substation design principles, including foundation design, structural analysis, and relevant codes and standards (e.g., IS codes, Euro codes, American codes).
  • Quality Assurance:

    Implement quality control procedures and conduct self-checks and peer reviews to ensure the accuracy and completeness of designs.
  • Project Management:

    Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion.
  • Coordination:

    Collaborate with other disciplines (e.g., electrical, mechanical) and external stakeholders (e.g., vendors, contractors) to ensure seamless integration of designs.
  • Site Visits and Reviews:

    Conduct site visits to assess site conditions, gather data, and provide technical support during construction and commissioning.
  • Bidding and Estimation:

    Prepare and review BOQs and other tender documents for civil and structural works.
  • Documentation:

    Prepare and maintain comprehensive design documentation, including design basis reports, technical specifications, and calculation reports.
  • Client Interaction:

    Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and provide technical solutions.
