Role Description

The IT Support Assistant will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of KiarX's IT infrastructure. This includes providing day-to-day technical support, troubleshooting issues, handling printer and system maintenance, and assisting team members with IT-related queries. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, proactive monitoring, and effective communication to support seamless business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to employees as well as other team members for hardware, software, and networking or internal issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related problems, including system crashes, network issues, and application errors.
  • Handle printer setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Perform routine computer maintenance, updates, and security checks.
  • Assist in managing company databases (basic SQL queries and updates).
  • Maintain documentation of IT support processes and issue resolution.
  • Train and support employees through video sessions and one-on-one guidance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth IT operations.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issues.

Qualifications

  • Strong Customer Support and Customer Service skills.
  • Proficient in Technical Support and Troubleshooting.
  • Excellent Analytical Skills.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or relevant experience.
