The Product Marketing Manager (PMM) is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that effectively position, promote, and drive adoption of products or product lines. The PMM collaborates closely with product management, sales, and marketing teams to ensure product success and market impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Positioning & Messaging
  • Craft clear, compelling product positioning, value propositions, and messaging for target audiences.
  • Ensure alignment with overall brand strategy and customer needs.
Market Research & Competitive Analysis
  • Conduct research to understand industry trends, customer behavior, and competitors.
  • Identify market opportunities, target personas, and pain points to inform strategy.
Go-to-Market Strategy
  • Develop and execute GTM strategies for new launches and feature updates.
  • Collaborate on pricing, packaging, and distribution strategies with product and sales teams.
Sales Enablement
  • Create sales tools including presentations, battle cards, FAQs, and brochures.
  • Train sales teams on product features, benefits, and customer insights.
Content Development
  • Produce content assets such as blogs, whitepapers, case studies, videos, webinars, and website copy.
  • Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all materials.
Campaign Management
  • Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns to drive awareness, demand, and leads.
  • Analyze performance metrics and optimize campaigns for maximum ROI.
Customer Advocacy
  • Highlight customer success stories through case studies, references, and user-generated content.
Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Work with product management, digital marketing, and social media teams to amplify product impact.
Data-driven Insights
  • Monitor market performance and customer engagement using analytics tools.
  • Report on KPIs such as adoption, churn, and campaign ROI.
Product Lifecycle Management
  • Act as a product expert throughout its lifecycle, developing strategies to maintain relevance.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in marketing platforms and analytics tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Analytics, etc.).
  • Strong analytical abilities to translate data into actionable strategies.
  • Collaborative team player with project management expertise.
