Sales Engineer / Sales FAE (Indian Market)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Sales Engineer / Sales FAE to develop and expand our business in the Indian market. The role involves both commercial and technical responsibilities from driving sales growth and managing customer relationships, to providing technical support for new product introductions and ensuring business processes align with company KPIs and quality systems.
Key Responsibilities
Business & Sales Management
- Develop and implement business promotion systems (e.g., sales reports, monthly reviews), annual plans, and KPI-driven business process management.
- Lead and manage the Indian sales team to achieve performance goals and execute strategic sales plans.
- Design and execute incentive programs to drive team performance and maintain team stability.
- Execute marketing strategies to achieve annual business objectives.
- Support product promotion in the Indian market, identify customer needs, and assist in transforming them into product specifications.
- Track and manage customer orders, shipment documents, and related accounting processes.
- Follow up on samples, delivery schedules, and internal production progress for Indian customers.
- Handle applications and follow-up of business-related administrative matters for Indian sales.
- Collect end-user information and market intelligence from Indian customer groups.
- Manage accounts receivable and customer credit limits.
Product & Technical Support
- Evaluate and manage derivative product development and new product life cycles.
- Support customers in new project introduction (NPI/NBO) and ensure alignment with company product strategies.
- Coordinate with R&D, quality, and production teams to drive early-stage product quality planning.
- Conduct market trend analysis and identify new business opportunities.
- Provide timely solutions for customer technical inquiries and issues.
System & Process Management
- Implement and continuously improve business processes in accordance with quality management systems such as IATF 16949, QC080000, ISO14001, and related industry standards.
- Ensure compliance with company processes and contribute to ongoing optimization of procedures and documentation.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelors degree or above in business, electronics, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of sales experience, including 3+ years in team leadership or management roles.
- Prior experience in the electronics or manufacturing industry preferred.
For FAE candidates: at least 3 years of experience in LED/IC packaging or product development/promotion.
Language: Fluency in English
