Project Coordinator

The Project Coordinator will support the Project Manager and construction team in planning, Organizing, and executing construction projects. They will ensure smooth communication, document management, and coordination between different stakeholders to keep the project on schedule and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Coordination:
Assist the Project Manager in developing project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow.
Track project milestones and report progress regularly.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain and Organize project-related documents, contracts, drawings, and permits.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports on project progress, delays, and issues.
Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations.
Procurement & Resource Management:
Assist in procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
- Track inventory, deliveries, and usage of construction materials.
Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of supplies.
Communication & Stakeholder Management:
Act as a liaison between the project team, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, site visits, and inspections.
Address and resolve project-related queries and concerns.
Quality Control & Safety Compliance:
Support site teams in maintaining quality control and safety standards.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Report any safety hazards or incidents to the relevant authorities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Diploma in Construction/Project Management is a plus.
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in project coordination in the construction industry.
- Familiarity with construction processes, materials, and regulations.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, AUTOCAD).
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Soft Skills:
- Excellent Organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
