
Regional Business Development Manager

The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company. This candidate will strategically plan their approach to clients and offer compelling solutions to cater for client's needs. They are responsible for maintaining and developing relationships in order to meet sales goals.
Responsibilities
Ø Should have exposure to the end customer applications in Ceramics.
Ø Skilled in business development, and hunting for new applications.
Ø Comfortable working with targets, making sense of metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets
Ø Work closely with Senior Management and present a road map for driving & achieving sales of Ceramic division
Ø Should be instrumental in conducting market research, due diligence, and competitor benchmarking
Ø Initiates go-to-market strategy for Ceramic products and other related ….
Ø Identify, cultivate, and develop new prospects into a sales pipeline with profitable growth
Ø Should have excellent negotiation, deal closing skills and coordinate with strategic team to review current market trends and propose new business ideas that can improve revenue margins
Ø Identify new potential markets and maintain the relationships among the existing markets for the existing products
Ø Deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution Identify & Participate in conferences and trade shows
Ø Aid in forecast and budget preparation
Ø Present technical papers and training, when required
Ø Maintain CRM database for opportunities and existing customers
Ø Identify and work with Operations team to fill gaps in customer service including quality, delivery, and cost
Ø Should become well versed with costing of technical ceramic products using various processes Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals
Ø Prepare and monitor the marketing budget on a quarterly and annual basis and allocate funds
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 10+ years' of industry-related business development experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong knowledge of successful marketing strategies
- Focused and goal-oriented
