Job Title: Senior Manager / General Manager Hardware Sales

Location: Gurugram

Experience Required: 12–15 years

Department: Sales – Hardware Vertical

Reporting To: National Sales Head

Role Overview:

We are looking for a senior resource to lead our hardware vertical, managing the sales of FI-specific hardware such as L1 biometric devices, Mantra scanners, Micro ATMs (MATMs), and other banking-grade devices. The candidate should have strong experience in channel sales, government procurement, BFSI sector engagements, and working with OEMs and partners in the hardware ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive end-to-end sales and business development for FI hardware products – L1 Devices, Mantra Biometrics, MATMs, IRIS scanners, printers and related peripherals.
  • Build and manage relationships with channel partners, OEMs (e.g. Mantra, Evolute, Visiontek), distributors, and system integrators.
  • Handle hardware requirements for Banks, Government departments, BC Networks, Corporate clients, and reseller networks.
  • Manage government tenders, rate contracts, empanelment, and large-scale hardware deployment projects.
  • Develop pricing models, negotiate deals, and close high-value transactions.
  • Monitor hardware inventory, coordinate with internal supply chain & logistics teams to ensure timely delivery.
  • Work closely with business teams to forecast hardware demand and identify expansion areas.
  • Ensure timely collection, order fulfillment, and after-sales support coordination.
  • Stay updated on new FI-compliant hardware innovations and regulatory standards.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Graduate in Engineering/Technology or equivalent; MBA preferred.
  • 12–15 years of experience in hardware sales, preferably with exposure to FI and BFSI segments.
  • Prior experience with companies like Mantra, Evolute, Visiontek, Analogics, or working in fintechs offering hardware solutions.
  • Strong understanding of L1 certification requirements, AEPS, MATM, and Aadhaar-enabled hardware usage.
  • Familiar with government procurement systems, GeM portal, and banking RFPs.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and team-handling skills.
  • Willing to travel extensively across regions as per business needs.
