Indigotex is an IIT Delhi-based deep technology textile startup pioneering new categories of sustainable fabrics.

Our flagship innovation, Indiwool Denim, combines the iconic look of denim with the warmth, softness, and premium feel of wool.

We are expanding across India and international markets, offering premium wool-based and sustainable denim fabrics.

Key Responsibilities

Drive sales and business development for Indigotex's new fabric categories (wool denim and premium fabrics).

Develop and manage strong buyer relationships with domestic and international brands, garment exporters, and fabric traders.

Handle B2B sales with denim brands, wool-based fabric buyers, and premium apparel manufacturers.

Lead export sales initiatives and manage key accounts in Europe and other international markets.

Identify and onboard new clients through direct marketing, trade shows, and digital platforms.

Participate in international and domestic trade fairs such as Première Vision, Texworld, DenimsandJeans, and other textile exhibitions.

Develop annual sales strategies, price positioning, and volume targets for domestic and export segments.

Maintain close coordination with the production and product development teams to meet customer requirements.

Provide regular market insights, competitor analysis, and fabric trend updates to management.

Candidate Requirements

Minimum 7+ years of experience in fabric sales (preferably denim, wool, or premium textiles).

Strong communication and presentation skills; fluency in English is a must.

Well-established client base with denim brands, premium fabric exporters, and garment manufacturers in India and abroad.

Proven export market experience and direct buyer contacts in premium apparel and fabric segments.

Experience participating in leading domestic and international textile exhibitions.

Open to extensive travel across India and overseas as required.

Self-starter attitude, proactive in identifying and pursuing new opportunities.

Comfortable working in a dynamic startup environment with high accountability and flexibility.

Compensation Package

Package: ₹16 LPA (Negotiable for candidates with strong buyer base and proven export sales track record)
