HR Operations and Payroll Executive

Role & responsibilities
- Payroll Processing:
Calculating and processing employee salaries, wages, bonuses, and deductions.
- Compliance:
Ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
- Data Management:
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee payroll records, including personal information, pay rates, and tax details.
- Report Generation:
Creating and distributing various payroll reports for management and other stakeholders.
- Query Resolution:
Addressing employee inquiries and resolving payroll-related issues or discrepancies.
- Collaboration:
Working closely with HR, accounting, and other departments to ensure accurate and efficient payroll processing.
- Tax Management:
Calculating and remitting payroll taxes, including income tax, social security, and Medicare.
- System Maintenance:
Utilizing and maintaining payroll software and systems.
- Process Improvement:
Identifying and implementing improvements to payroll processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Preferred candidate profile
- Payroll Knowledge: In-depth understanding of payroll procedures, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues.
- Mathematical Skills: Accuracy in calculations for wages, taxes, and other deductions.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with employees, HR, and other departments.
