Job description

Position Summary

  • We are seeking a hands-on, pro-active, dynamic, and seasoned Talent Management Leader with experience in the Engineering industry to develop and execute strategies that promote employee growth, enhance organizational performance, and reinforce our brand as an employer of choice. This role will encompass key functions such as Learning & Development, Employer Branding & Communication, Performance Appraisal, and Career Pathing. Additionally, the Talent Management Leader will coordinate closely with our Madrid office to ensure alignment of global and regional talent strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Team Management

  • Lead, measure, recruit, evaluate and manage the Talent Management team.

Learning & Development (L&D)

  • Champion the implementation a comprehensive L&D framework, tailored to the unique needs of the Engineering sector, focusing on technical skill-building, leadership development, and upskilling initiatives.
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify skill gaps and create targeted training programs that foster professional growth and support long-term business goals.
  • Prepare and follow up the annual training plan.
  • Track and evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs, ensuring they deliver measurable improvements and adapt to evolving needs.
  • Coordinate Training activities and initiatives with our Head Offices.

Employer Branding & Communication

  • Lead employer branding efforts that keep our reputation as an Engineering industry leader and attract top-tier talent.
  • Develop and manage branding and communication campaigns to convey our values, culture, and employee value proposition across digital platforms and events.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, representing the company at recruitment fairs, industry conferences, and within social media channels to strengthen brand presence.

Onboarding, Employee Experience & Exits

  • Design and lead a seamless onboarding process that creates a positive first impression and accelerates new hires' integration into the company culture and their roles.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure new hires receive the necessary support, resources, and information during their onboarding journey.
  • Champion initiatives that enhance employee experience, improve engagement, and reinforce our commitment to an inclusive, dynamic workplace.
  • Help manage structured exit processes that ensure respectful and thorough offboarding experiences, capturing feedback and insights to identify areas for improvement and contribute to a continuous cycle of employee experience enhancement.

Performance Appraisal & Management

  • In coordination with Madrid HO Establish and drive a performance management system that encourages continuous feedback and supports a culture of high performance.
  • Work with HR Business Partners and managers to set clear performance goals, offer constructive feedback, and implement professional development plans for employees.
  • Use performance metrics and analytics to identify high-potential employees and ensure alignment with career advancement opportunities.

Career Pathing & Succession Planning

  • Champion the development of structured career paths for employees, enabling clear, progressive growth opportunities within the organization.
  • Design and implement succession planning initiatives to create a steady talent pipeline for critical roles, particularly within technical and engineering-focused positions.
  • Promote the conduction regular talent reviews, identifying high-potential individuals and collaborating with department leaders to prepare them for future leadership roles.

Coordination with Madrid

  • Collaborate closely with Madrid-based HR teams to ensure alignment between local and global talent management strategies.
  • Act as a liaison for India initiatives, adapting global talent programs to meet local needs while maintaining consistency with the broader organizational framework.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • About 7-12 years of experience in Talent Management, Learning & Development, or related HR functions, ideally within the Engineering or industrial sectors.
  • Proven experience in performance management, employee engagement, career development, and succession planning within a technical or engineering-focused environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-regional teams.
  • Proficiency in HR information systems (HRIS)
