Roles and Responsibilities
- Asia Pacific Comprising of six countries (excluding Japan), it has key growth markets like Australia and India as part of the region. The incumbent will be expected to manage key relationships with the vendors and stakeholders.
- As a Leader of the Asia Pacific Talent Acquisition team, the TA Manager will also be custodian of all TA processes for the region within the organization.
- Work Country HR Leaders and Business stakeholders to identify talent pools within the country and globally to meet the growing talent demands of each country.
- Work with global Talent Acquisition team of group to identify opportunities for building brand awareness by communicating the Employee Value Proposition through identified digital and physical channels
- Manage time bound acquisition of talent (both external and internal) to ensure availability of adequate resources for the business.
- Make sure that every hiring process has a credible slate of diverse talent based on gender, ethnicity, etc. to promote DEI culture in the organization
- Leverage global program to engage with identified universities for hiring of key technical and functional talent to drive early career programs in the region
- Manage rigorous relationship with all key stakeholders in the region for timebound hiring of critical talent to ensure business continuity
- Leverage multiple reports from tool and various other sources to drive Talent Analytics in managing key decisions to hire high caliber talent for the businesses across the region
- Publish periodic reports for decision making and updating key stakeholders on talent availability across the region
- Ensure leveraging of tool and its reporting capabilities to drive hiring process compliance inline with group's best practices
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendor partners; universities in key geographies to hire talent on demand
- Leverage multiple sources of talent to develop external slate of talents for critical roles
- Own the process of handholding of selected candidates and ensure proper on-boarding of the candidates
- As this role is part of both (Asia Pacific and global) leadership team(s), any project/responsibility can be assigned to the role holder in addition to his/her work
Desired Candidate Profile
- A seasoned Talent Acquisition resource who can bring strategic approach to managing the talent supply chain for the region while maintaining focus on enhancing candidate experience, world class on boarding thereby enabling organization to become employer of choice.
- Someone who is both process and data driven with an eye for excellence and enhancing candidate experience.
- We expect the incumbent to approach the Talent Acquisition function like the Strategic supply chain for talent
- Ability to work across cultures and time zones in cross functional teams and lead by influence
- understanding of equal opportunity and ethnicity issues and affirmative action requirements by geography will be a plus
- experience of working in a multi-national and multi-cultural environment.
- experience of working in engineering or infrastructure sectors and in a matrix environment will be considered a plus;
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- The candidate of choice should have post graduate qualifications in Human Resource from university of repute in India or an equivalent qualification from a university overseas.
- Exposure to Six Sigma tools, Agile methodologies and User Experience techniques will be an added advantage.
