The Sales Manager IT & Cybersecurity is responsible for driving business growth through the sale of cybersecurity solutions. This role involves identifying potential clients, managing key accounts, and achieving sales targets by offering tailored security solutions that address customers business and technical challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets for cybersecurity and IT solutions.
- Identify and engage new business opportunities across enterprise and mid-market segments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers including CIOs, CISOs, and IT heads.
- Present and demonstrate cybersecurity solutions to prospective clients.
- Collaborate with technical pre-sales, solution architects, and delivery teams to create customized proposals and RFP responses.
- Stay updated with emerging cybersecurity trends, technologies, and competitor offerings.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation, proposal submission, negotiation, to deal closure.
- Prepare regular sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and market intelligence for management.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and long-term account retention through effective post-sales engagement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity sales.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding enterprise sales targets.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity technologies such as firewalls, endpoint protection, SIEM, DLP, IAM, SOC, and cloud security.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
