Position Overview:
The Vice President – Sales & Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing the overall sales and marketing strategy to drive revenue growth, expand market presence, and strengthen the company's brand. The role requires strong leadership, strategic vision, and proven expertise in managing large sales and marketing teams, building customer relationships, and delivering measurable business results.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Growth:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Drive revenue and profitability through new business development, key account management, and expansion into new markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
- Forecast sales performance, monitor results, and ensure achievement of sales targets.
Marketing & Brand Development:
- Design and lead integrated marketing campaigns to enhance brand visibility and market share.
- Oversee digital, ATL/BTL, and trade marketing initiatives to support business objectives.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer insights to shape marketing strategies.
- Strengthen corporate identity, positioning, and communication across all channels.
Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales and marketing teams to achieve peak performance.
- Establish KPIs, performance metrics, and incentive structures for teams.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Business & Market Expansion:
- Identify new business opportunities, alliances, and partnerships to accelerate growth.
- Explore untapped geographies, product segments, and customer categories.
- Ensure alignment of sales and marketing initiatives with overall business strategy.
Operational Excellence:
- Monitor budgets, control costs, and ensure optimal resource utilization.
- Provide regular business performance reports to senior management and board.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, and ethical standards in sales and marketing practices.
Key Requirements:
- MBA/PGDM in Marketing, Sales, or Business Administration.
- 15+ years of proven experience in sales & marketing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Strong business acumen with a track record of achieving revenue targets.
- Deep understanding of market dynamics, customer behavior, and industry trends.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, result-oriented environment.
