Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced WAN L2 Engineer
with strong expertise in
Routing and Switching
to support and maintain large-scale enterprise networks. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with
Cisco ASR 9K series routers
and possess solid troubleshooting skills to ensure network reliability, performance, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

· Perform Level 2 support
for WAN incidents, changes, and service requests.

· Manage and troubleshoot
Routing and Switching issues
across enterprise networks.

· Perform configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of
Cisco ASR 9000
series routers.

· Collaborate with L3 teams for escalations, complex problem analysis, and root cause resolution.

· Support
network implementation, migrations, and change management activities
.

· Monitor network performance, proactively identify issues, and optimize network efficiency.

· Maintain detailed network documentation and update topology diagrams as needed.

· Coordinate with vendors and service providers for
WAN circuit
provisioning and fault resolution.

Required Skills & Experience:

· –6 years
of experience in WAN network support or similar role.

· Strong knowledge of
Routing protocols
(BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS).

· Hands-on experience with
Cisco ASR 9K series
and other Cisco routers/switches.

· Good understanding of
QoS, VRF, IP addressing, and WAN technologies
(MPLS, Internet, VPN).

· Familiarity with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, or similar).

· Experience with ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management).

Certifications:
CCNA (required), CCNP (preferred).
