Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced SD-WAN Engineer with a proven background in designing, implementing, and supporting large-scale enterprise/BFSI SD-WAN infrastructures. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience with Fortinet solutions, particularly FortiGate and FortiManager, and will play a critical role in ensuring secure, scalable, and resilient WAN connectivity across global environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and optimize FortiGate firewalls, FortiManager, and FortiAnalyzer platforms.

Provide L3 support for escalations, troubleshooting complex SD-WAN issues.

Collaborate with network architects to define WAN strategies and migration plans.

Monitor network performance, implement traffic shaping, SLA policies, and QoS.

Ensure compliance with security best practices, HA/DR, and redundancy setups.

Prepare and maintain technical documentation, operational guides.

Train and mentor junior engineers in SD-WAN operations and troubleshooting.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

7+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering

Strong knowledge of SD-WAN technologies, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), IPsec VPNs, and WAN optimization.

Expertise in policy management, security profiles, and advanced firewalling.

Experience in multi-site deployments, HA clustering, and global WAN rollout.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.

Certifications (Mandatory):CCNP

Fortinet NSE (Highly Preferred)

CCNP Enterprise or equivalent vendor certifications

ITIL Foundation (advantageous)
