Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Development: Manage and mentor the IT support team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure a high-performing support function.
  • Service Desk Management: Oversee daily operations of the IT help desk, ensuring prompt and effective handling of support requests and incidents.
  • Policy & Procedure Implementation: Develop and enforce IT support policies and procedures to standardize operations and improve efficiency.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as response times, resolution rates, and user satisfaction to assess and enhance support services.
  • Vendor & Asset Management: Manage relationships with external vendors, oversee procurement of IT equipment, and maintain accurate records of IT assets.
  • User Support & Training: Provide high-quality technical assistance to users, including training sessions to enhance their understanding of IT systems and tools.
  • Security & Compliance: Ensure IT support practices comply with organizational security policies and relevant regulations, addressing vulnerabilities proactively.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years in IT support roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory position.
