Job Description:

As a Category Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our product lines within the FMCG sector. You will analyze new supplier leads, communicate with suppliers, onboard Suppliers onto our portal, maintain supplier relationships, coordinate with the sales team, negotiate contracts, and ensure quality standards are met through vendor visits.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience in purchasing & sourcing, preferably in FMCG Packaging purchase, Flexible Packaging.
  • B.Tech. in Printing and packaging. PGDM preferred.
  • Proven experience in operations and fulfillment, preferably within the FMCG packaging industries.
  • Solid understanding of cost sheets and pricing structures within the packaging industry.
  • Have hands-on experience in Mono/ Folding Cartons, IML Boxes, Lemi Tubes.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate supplier leads and negotiate contracts effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for supplier communication and relationship management.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, particularly sales and procurement.
  • Willingness to travel for vendor visits and supplier meetings as required.
  • Strong negotiation skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with quality assurance processes and standards.
