Role of GM

The GM oversees the companys day-to-day operational functions, ensuring that manufacturing, project execution, and supply chain activities align with business goals. The GM drives efficiency, productivity, safety, and customer satisfaction across all functions.

  • Growth Support: Contribute to strategic decisions with the CEO and Board.

Responsibilities

  1. Operational Leadership

  2. Lead all plant operations, engineering, procurement, and project management functions.

  3. Streamline interdepartmental coordination to ensure on-time and cost-effective project execution.

  4. Production Oversight

  5. Supervise factory operations (Steam Boilers, Thermic Fluid Heaters, Waste Heat Recovery).

  6. Ensure optimal utilization of capacity, manpower, and machinery.

  7. Project & Site Execution

  8. Monitor site installations and commissioning progress.

  9. Resolve escalations and manage resource allocation.

  10. Quality & Safety Compliance

  11. Ensure all processes comply with ISO, IBR, and safety standards.

  12. Enforce quality assurance and EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) policies.

  13. Supply Chain Management

  14. Oversee vendor selection, material planning, and inventory control.

  15. Ensure timely procurement and cost efficiency.

  16. Team Development

  17. Build high-performance teams through hiring, training, and mentoring.

  18. Coordinate with HR for workforce planning and development.

  19. Strategy & Growth Support

  20. Contribute to strategic decisions with the CEO and Board.

  21. Identify opportunities for capacity expansion, automation, and process improvement.
