Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Manager - Food Court Operations, located in Bengaluru. The manager will oversee daily operations of the food court, ensuring food service standards, food safety protocols, and exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include managing staff, coordinating with vendors, monitoring quality and stock, and maintaining customer satisfaction. The role also involves implementing strategies to enhance operational efficiency and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.

Qualifications

  • Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills
  • Expertise in Food Service, Food Safety, and Seafood handling
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Experience in a similar role within the food service industry
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
  • Knowledge of food court operations and vendor management is a plus

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Operational Oversight:
    Manage daily operations across multiple food courts and cafeterias, ensuring consistent service quality and adherence to brand and hygiene standards. Coordinate, as well, all equipment maintenance and repairs, waste removal and pest control activities.
  • Vendor Coordination:
    Liaise with food vendors and service providers to ensure timely delivery, menu consistency, and compliance with service agreements. Monitor the food preparation methods, portion sizes and presentations. Evaluation of vendor performance through scorecard mapping & tracking.
  • Team Management
    : Supervise and support outlet supervisors and staff, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and service excellence.
  • Guest Experience:
    Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance satisfaction and dining experience. Deep dive into complaints about food quality and service and see to it that such issues are resolved accordingly. Identify opportunities for improving service, safety, and overall performance. Also, determine which food offerings are popular among diners and same to are effectively communicated to the food service operators for implementation.
  • Compliance & Safety:
    Support the Brigade Hygiene Manager in ensuring all outlets comply with local food safety regulations, hygiene standards, and internal policies.
  • Event Support:
    Coordinate and Curate food programs along with the Food service operators. Planning the Food festivals and special occasions within Brigade Properties.
  • Digitization:
    Working on innovations, technology introduction& understanding of new products introduced (Food Ordering Apps, Cafeteria Feedback System, etc)
  • Support to Group Hygiene Manager:
     Ensuring proper documentation and keeping records (sanitation, food subsidy records, food wastage, etc.) up to date and consistent with government standards. Imparting training to the Kitchen Staff on cleaning, etiquette, and equipment management.
