Job summary : We are seeking an accomplished Operations Manager to lead cluster operations in the defined clusters where they will be responsible for all the warehousing & distribution operations falling under the cluster, including both ambient and temperature-controlled facilities. Serving blue-chip clients across industries, the incumbent will be accountable for delivering service excellence, driving operational KPIs, managing end-to-end P&L. A proven regional operations leader as ideal candidate will demonstrate strong commercial acumen, deep operational expertise.

Scope of work: The Cluster Manager will be entrusted with full ownership of warehousing and distribution of assigned cluster. This role will drive the agenda for operational stability, customer experience enhancement, and KPI management & deep selling into existing accounts. The incumbent will lead P&L ownership, cost governance and compliance adherence, while ensuring best-in-class service delivery aligned with stringent KPIs. The role will standardize SOPs, streamline processes, and implement robust service frameworks to support business continuity and operational excellence. Operationally, the candidate will oversee daily execution across sites, manage cross-functional coordination.

Responsibilities :

Strategic Responsibilities

• Own the P&L for warehousing and secondary distribution across all sites in the assigned cluster.
• Build strong client partnerships with cluster customers to deepen engagement and unlock additional business opportunities.
• Leading the team of warehouse managers, their performance evaluation, and progress path.
• Establish a culture of customer centricity, continuous improvement, and operational excellence across the operations in the defined cluster.

Tactical Responsibilities

• Drive operational KPIs including OTIF, inventory accuracy, order turnaround time, fill rates, and zero-defect dispatch performance.
• Implement standardized SOPs, SLAs, and service frameworks across all sites, ensuring consistency and compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with business development and key account teams to prepare and deliver operational excellence.
• Monitor and manage cost performance through productivity improvement, process reengineering, and waste elimination.

Operational Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of ambient and temperature-controlled warehouses in the assigned cluster.
• Ensure accurate and timely execution of warehousing and distribution functions, including receiving, storage, order picking, dispatch, and returns management.
• Maintain high levels of operational hygiene, facility upkeep, security, and inventory control across cluster sites.
• Lead reviews of daily, weekly, and monthly operational dashboards.
• Handle client escalations, operational bottlenecks, and service deviations with speed and ownership.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, HR, Admin, Compliance, EHS and Finance to ensure seamless execution of business operations.

Qualifications/Experience:

• 8+ years of experience in warehousing, logistics, or supply chain, with at least 2 years in managing multiple sites in a 3PL or contract logistics environment.
• Demonstrated P&L ownership with experience in driving profitability and cost control.
• Strong client engagement and account management capabilities with a partnership-driven approach.
• Tech-savvy, with hands-on experience in WMS/TMS/ERP and exposure to automation tools and digital dashboards.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management.
• High ownership mindset with ability to work in fast-paced, evolving environments.
• Willingness to travel frequently across locations.
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain / engineering
