Role & responsibilities :

Title: IT Administrator

Reports To: IT Head (US)

Office Timings: 3:00 pm to 12:00 am Monday - Friday

Job Summary: IT support personnel is responsible for Installing, monitoring and troubleshooting IT networks (LAN and WAN). IT support personnel will ensure that users computer in the network perform as per company standard. Candidates must be energetic and focused with a strong motivation to learn new technologies and deploy them effectively. This position requires dedication, persistence, follow-up, effective utilization of provided resources.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain network infrastructure at Circuitronix including all servers, firewalls, switches, and other equipment.
  • Research and upgrade network components as newer technology becomes available
  • Support Company approved hardware and software.
  • IT procedure, change and incident management documentations.
  • Provide day-to-day desktop/Laptop support to ensure a smooth computing environment for Circuitronix India operations.
  • Manage all IT related licensing contracts with our software vendor
  • Ensure the smooth functioning of IT infrastructures such as servers, printers, and network devices.
  • Manage all IT related licensing contracts with our software vendor and company IT assets.
  • Administer and maintain a disaster recovery.
  • Additional duties as assigned by IT management.
  • Maintain VOIP phone system.
  • Knowledge of installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Microsoft Windows 7
  • Knowledge of installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Conversant with operation of router, switches, IP address, Gateways etc.
  • Experience with installation of new networks, configuring domains, installing domain controllers.
  • Document processes involving PC configuration and standard operating procedures.
  • Basic knowledge of Server 2003, 2008 and Exchange 2010, firewalls
  • Basic understanding of LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.
  • Basic understanding of PC, server backup, and disaster recovery.
  • Maintain password accounts including creation of new accounts and changes to existing accounts.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Must be fluent in English
