We are looking for a Senior System Engineer with strong expertise in Nutanix, Citrix, Windows Server, and Active Directory. The candidate will be responsible for providing day-to-day operations, implementation, and second-level support for enterprise IT infrastructure. The role focuses on ensuring high availability, performance, and security of IT systems. Role & responsibilities

Preferred candidate profile

  • Provide L2 support for IT infrastructure including Nutanix clusters, Citrix environments, Windows servers, and Active Directory.
  • Perform system monitoring, incident resolution, and escalation to L3/vendor when required.
  • Handle user requests, troubleshooting, and problem resolution for infrastructure-related issues.
  • Manage server administration (user accounts, permissions, GPOs, patching, performance tuning).
  • Assist in the implementation of new systems and upgrades under project team guidance.
  • Perform routine maintenance such as backups, patching, and system health checks.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, changes, and configurations.
  • Ensure systems comply with security and compliance requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5-10 years of experience in IT infrastructure support and administration.

  • Strong hands-on experience in:

  • Nutanix HCI (AHV, Prism) operations and troubleshooting.

  • Citrix Virtual Apps/Desktops administration and support.
  • Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) installation, configuration, and maintenance.

  • Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy administration.

  • Knowledge of VMware or Hyper-V is a plus.

  • Good understanding of backup, DR, and monitoring tools.
  • Basic scripting skills (PowerShell) for automation.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications such as Nutanix Certified Professional (NCP), Citrix CCA-V, or Microsoft MCSA/MCSE.
