About Us

MTechZilla is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accountant to oversee financial operations, statutory compliance, and internal reporting for a fast-scaling software development agency working with clients across the US and Europe.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Analyst to optimise our client's reservation operations, enhance guest experience, and drive profitability. This role requires a strong blend of business acumen and technical skills to bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert in reservation systems and data, using data-driven insights to recommend strategic improvements across various departments, including Revenue Management, Operations, Sales & Marketing, and Finance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Collection & Analysis: Gather and analyse large datasets related to reservation operations, including occupancy rates, revenue (RevPAR, ADR), guest satisfaction scores, and market trends to identify patterns, trends, and business opportunities.
  • Reporting & Dashboard Creation: Create, manage, and distribute impactful reports and interactive dashboards (using tools like Power BI or Tableau) to present key performance indicators (KPIs) and actionable insights to management and stakeholders.
  • Process Improvement: Evaluate existing business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies, recommend improvements, and implement optimised solutions.
  • Requirements Gathering & Documentation: Collaborate with stakeholders across departments (e.g., front desk, F&B, sales, IT) to elicit, document, and prioritize detailed business and system requirements for new projects and enhancements.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct cost-benefit analysis and financial modelling for proposed initiatives to aid management in making informed investment decisions.
  • Market & Competitor Research: Perform thorough market and competitive analysis to stay informed about industry trends and best practices, providing strategic recommendations for staying ahead.
  • Training & Support: Develop training materials and provide support and guidance to end-users on new systems, tools, and processes.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Finance, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field.
  • Minimum of [2] years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar analytical role.
  • Prior experience within the hospitality or travel industry is highly advantageous.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Microsoft Excel (advanced functions), Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹400, ₹600,000.00 per year
