About the Role

We are hiring a Director – SAP Implementation to lead large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation programs for global clients, with a strong focus on Japan-based engagements. This is a senior leadership role responsible for delivery excellence, stakeholder management, and driving end-to-end SAP programs across multi-country environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementations, global rollouts, and transformation initiatives.

  • Serve as the primary engagement leader for Japanese clients, ensuring culturally aligned communication and seamless execution.

  • Manage CXO-level stakeholder interactions, governance, escalations, and program reporting.

  • Drive Fit-to-Standard workshops, solution design, integration planning, and program risk management.

  • Oversee multi-location teams and ensure high-quality delivery across business, technical, and PMO streams.

  • Support pre-sales, RFP responses, and solutioning for Japan-focused SAP opportunities.

Required Experience

  • 15+ years in SAP/S/4HANA implementations with strong Finance (FICO) and cross-module expertise.

  • Proven success leading global SAP programs with end-to-end delivery ownership.

  • Demonstrated experience working with Japanese enterprises across manufacturing/technology domains.

  • Japanese language proficiency (JLPT N3/N2 preferred-Read, Write & speak) for workshops and client communication.

  • Strong ability in stakeholder management, team leadership, and multi-vendor coordination.

Qualifications

  • Graduation in any discipline; MBA preferred.

  • SAP certifications (FICO/S/4HANA) are an advantage.
