
Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Customer Interaction: Greet customers, assess their requirements, explain vehicle features, and answer questions to guide their purchase decisions.
- Sales & Negotiation: Provide detailed information on vehicle specifications, compare options, offer test drives, and negotiate sales contracts to close deals.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain expert-level knowledge of the current car inventory, including features, specifications, and available financing options.
- Relationship Management: Build and nurture relationships with potential and existing customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Sales Target Achievement: Work towards achieving personal and team sales targets by effectively managing leads and following up on prospects.
- Process Management: Assist customers with paperwork, coordinate with the service department for vehicle preparation, and ensure a smooth post-delivery experience.
- Market Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends, competitive offers, and sales tactics to provide informed guidance to customers.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Strong abilities in persuasion, negotiation, and building rapport are essential for customer engagement.
- Customer Service: A focus on customer satisfaction and providing a positive buying experience is crucial.
- Product Expertise: In-depth knowledge of vehicle features, technology, and benefits is necessary to effectively recommend products.
- Negotiation Skills: The ability to reach mutually beneficial agreements on prices and terms is vital for closing sales.
- Sales & Target Orientation: A drive to meet and exceed sales goals and contribute to dealership success.
- Education: Typically requires a high school diploma or an associate's degree.
- Experience: Prior experience in sales, especially in the automotive sector, is often advantageous.
