Associate Campaign Manager

Position Summary:
The Campaign Manager will be responsible for email marketing campaigns from beginning to
end, including setting campaign timelines, ensuring flawless campaign execution, as well as
identifying opportunities for future process improvements. You will work closely with client
teams, internal teams, and third-party vendors to achieve the desired goals and objectives of
clients email marketing initiatives. This role requires a strong understanding of Email Service
Providers (ESPs), client services, and project management principles.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Email Marketing Campaign Management:
- Plan, execute, and optimize email campaigns across various ESPs, ensuring flawless
execution and timely delivery.
- Manage the end-to-end process of email marketing campaigns, including planning,
gathering assets, project management, testing, deployment, and analysis.
- Advise clients on email marketing best practices, strategies, and efficiency gains.
Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their business needs,
and providing strategic guidance on email marketing initiatives.
- Build strong client relationships, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction through effective
communication, regular updates, and delivering high-quality results.
- Collaborate with clients to gather requirements, define project scope, and establish clear
goals and deliverables.
- Participate in quarterly business reviews.
ESP Expertise and Technical Proficiency:
- Demonstrate expertise in various Email Service Providers (ESPs) such as Salesforce
Marketing Cloud, Adobe Campaign, CheetahDigital or Oracle Eloqua.
- Possess a deep understanding of ESP functionalities, including list management,
segmentation, automation, personalization, A/B testing, and analytics.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies related to
email marketing and ESPs.
Project Management:
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring project prioritization.
- Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams and third-party vendors,
including designers, copywriters, developers, and data analysts, to ensure seamless
project execution.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential roadblocks, and proactively resolve issues to
ensure timely delivery of projects.
Job Requirements:
Technical skills-
- In-depth knowledge of Email Service Providers (ESPs) and their functionalities.
- Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, including segmentation,
personalization, and A/B testing.
- Proficiency in email marketing tools, HTML/CSS, SQL, and marketing automation
platforms.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations such as GDPR and CAN-SPAM Act.
Education and Experience-
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Engineering or a related field (preferred).
- 1-3 years working in email marketing, with a focus on project management and client
services.
- Project Management experience with the ability to distill complex issues into structured
frameworks for solving complex business solutions.
- Strong verbal/written communication skills with client/leadership handling experience.
Knowledge and Competencies:
Experience in working within a global setting.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to work well under pressure and balance
multiple projects.
- Comprehensive knowledge of business language, with the ability to interpret and break
down complex briefs and translate into a solution.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects
simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients,
internal teams, and external vendors.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and optimize email
marketing performance.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Focused on results and extremely detail-oriented.
