Marketing and HR Associate

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Are you ready to ignite transformation through education? Asaadharan is looking for a passionate HR & Marketing Associate who can strengthen our team and systems, while also building Asaadharan's brand through impactful, data-driven marketing strategies.

In this role, you will manage people and culture, streamline HR processes, and design technical marketing initiatives that amplify our work in education. You will also capture and share stories of change, manage partnerships, and foster collaboration across stakeholders.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include but not limited to):

HUMAN RESOURCES & PEOPLE MANAGEMENT

Lead recruitment processes: draft JDs, manage outreach, screen applicants, and coordinate interviews.

Maintain HR records, attendance, leave tracking, and performance evaluation systems.

Design and execute the policies at organisation level - Child Protection Policy (CPP), POSH and Leave Policy.

Foster a culture aligned with Asaadharan's values of Love, Leadership, Collaboration, integrity and Reflection.

Support volunteer recruitment, orientation and engagement.

MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS (TECHNICAL FOCUS)

Develop and execute marketing campaigns that go beyond social media – including SEO, website management, analytics, email marketing, and digital and physical advertisements.

Manage Asaadharan's online presence on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube with engaging, impact-driven content.

Build and maintain the organization's website with updated stories, reports, and campaigns.

Create impact stories (through photos, videos, case studies, and blogs) and translate them into reports, newsletters, and donor decks.

Utilize tools like Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and Mailchimp to track engagement and optimize campaigns.

Identify and build partnerships with media houses, community platforms and education-focused networks for greater visibility.

REPORTING & STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT

Prepare regular Newsletter updates, dashboards, and reports for donors, partners and government officials.

Research and map potential collaborators, donors, and grant opportunities.

Coordinate and promote school events to engage stakeholders effectively.

CULTURE & COLLABORATION

Embody Asaadharan's values while bringing your unique perspective.

Foster a positive and collaborative culture in classrooms, schools, and within the organization.

Build networks with educational leaders, institutions, and media for knowledge-sharing and program growth.

Be open to responsibilities beyond the JD that strengthen Asaadharan's mission.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum graduate degree.

2+ years of relevant experience in HR, marketing, or communications (experience in the social sector preferred).

Strong understanding of digital marketing tools (SEO, Google Analytics, Meta Ads, Mailchimp, WordPress/website CMS).

Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.

Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills: the ability to effectively interface with multiple audiences, internal teams, and stakeholders while presenting complex ideas clearly and in an engaging manner.

Strong time management skills and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Understanding of Canva, Adobe, or other content creation tools as well as offline marketing connects.

Proficiency in Google Suite and online platforms.

Proficiency in English, Hindi (MUST) and Gujarati (preferred)..

DURATION:

A minimum commitment of 2 years is required.

The role requires you to start immediately.

REMUNERATION:

Rs. 2,40,000 - 3,00,000 per annum as per profile.
