Job Title : Manager – Training and Quality Assurance
Reports To : Director Operations- India
Job Summary: To develop a team of highly motivated, committed and knowledgeable staff
that implement the "philosophy" of the company and leave a lasting impression on our guests.
To coordinate effectively with Unit Heads and Unit Chefs to maintain a high level of quality and
hygiene standards throughout the organization, this includes premises and team members.
Job Description
Training:
- Develop and conduct, on a regular basis, an effective induction program that creates a
welcoming and a lasting impression on a new recruit.
- To identify and plan training programs required for each department through analysis of
mystery guest audits, customer feedback, annual appraisal forms, HOD and team member's
feedback.
- Liaise with ICT team to establish training programs for POS/PMS/computerized systems
across all units.
- To prepare a monthly/quarterly training schedule for all Units that comprises of the following
trainings: induction, soft skills and hard skills, refresher and new training programs, and
liaise objectively with Unit Heads to execute the same.
- To maintain and update the training MIS to record training and progress of each team
member within the group.
Ensure that statutory training requirements are met and well documented.
To provide a career path for team members and certify at the time of confirmation, appraisal
and promotion that each team member has completed all the necessary training
requirements.
- To assist the Human Resource department with recruitment and help co-ordinate campus
interviews.
- To identify a team of departmental trainers, organize a "train the trainer program" for the
selected individuals and monitor their progress.
- Responsible for making training budget for the group. Ensure that the costs of the planned
program are within budgets, particularly in case of outsourced training.
To be updated on the latest training techniques that is of the highest standards.
To develop a Rewards & Recognition Scheme for the group and execute it effectively.
To ensure that the notice boards across all units are neatly maintained and regularly
updated to reflect the latest IOCs and happenings.
- To liaise with the Human Resources team to ensure that the employee event calendar is
formulated and executed.
- Ensure inputs received from FHRAI and other industry associations are shared with the
required team members for their knowledge and action as required.
- Be a point of contact between the team members and the Unit Head's/Human Resources
team and highlight any team members concerns in a correct manner.
