Job Purpose:
The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing the human resources functions across campuses, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, policy implementation, compliance, and fostering a positive work environment aligned with the institution's vision and values.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment & Onboarding
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for teaching, administrative, and support staff.
- Collaborate with department heads to understand manpower requirements.
- Organize interviews, reference checks, and onboarding processes.
2. Employee Relations & Engagement
- Foster a positive workplace culture through engagement programs.
- Act as a liaison between staff and management to address grievances.
- Promote a healthy work-life balance and employee well-being.
3. Performance Management
- Implement and monitor performance appraisal systems.
- Work with academic and non-academic heads to identify high performers and training needs.
- Develop growth and succession planning initiatives.
4. HR Policies & Compliance
- Draft, review, and implement HR policies in accordance with institutional goals and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, education board norms, and statutory requirements.
- Maintain employee records and documentation.
5. Training & Development
- Coordinate professional development programs for faculty and staff.
- Identify skill gaps and propose training strategies.
- Organize induction, orientation, and leadership development sessions.
6. Payroll & Attendance
- Oversee attendance systems and leave management.
- Liaise with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Handle employee benefits and insurance administration.
