Maintenance Engineer

Reports To: Service & Maintenance Manager

Role Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Maintenance Engineer to support service and maintenance operations for electronic security systems across our client sites in the APAC region. This role involves hands-on troubleshooting, system monitoring, and support for access control and surveillance systems to ensure reliability, uptime, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of electronic security systems at client sites.
  • Monitor system health through alarm logs and analytics, and resolve issues proactively.
  • Support installation, firmware upgrades, and system enhancements under the guidance of the global technical team.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, system configurations, and asset inventories.
  • Assist in handling service requests and track issue resolution timelines.
  • Coordinate with vendors for spare parts procurement and service support.
  • Ensure compliance with maintenance schedules, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Support budgeting and inventory planning with the maintenance manager and finance team.
Required Qualifications:
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering.
  • 2–4 years of experience in maintaining electronic security systems such as access control, CCTV, or intrusion detection.
  • Familiarity with Lenel or similar access control platforms is a plus.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication in English.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
Working Conditions:
  • Exposure to sensitive security systems and data; confidentiality required.
  • Regular use of laptops and mobile devices; proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic IT tools.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to client sites across the APAC region.
