Clans Machina is a rapidly growing clean-tech and solar EPC company, and an official Tata Power Solar Channel Partner. We are driving the mission of creating an Electricity-Bill-Free Odisha through rooftop solar, C&I projects, EV charging, and renewable-energy solutions across multiple districts.
We are expanding our footprint in Balasore and seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead our regional sales operations.

Position Overview

The
Sales Manager – Balasore
will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing the district sales team, developing B2B & B2C opportunities, and ensuring smooth coordination between field sales, operations, and customer support. This is a leadership role requiring strong sales discipline, team management skills, and proven experience in the solar or renewable energy sector.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Strategy & Achievement

  • Drive monthly and quarterly sales targets for residential, MSME, industrial, and institutional solar projects.
  • Implement district-level sales strategy and lead generation activities.
  • Develop strong funnel management through CRM and daily reporting.

2. Team Leadership & Performance Management

  • Manage, guide, and motivate a
    team of 10+ sales executives
    .
  • Conduct field audits, joint customer visits, and weekly sales reviews.
  • Mentor the team on proposal pitching, ROI explanation, and closure techniques.

3. B2B & B2C Sales Management

  • Build a strong pipeline of
    commercial, industrial, housing society, and institutional
    leads.
  • Handle high-value B2B negotiations with business owners, factory heads, and committees.
  • Drive B2C sales through local marketing, society campaigns, and community outreach.

4. Market Development & Channel Support

  • Develop relationships with channel partners, retailers, influencers, and local associations.
  • Coordinate with marketing for local campaigns, stalls, awareness drives, and digital lead follow-up.

5. Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Work closely with Operations, Documentation, and Finance teams for project execution.
  • Ensure timely site surveys, material confirmation, installation updates, and payment follow-ups.

6. Customer Experience & Escalation Handling

  • Engage with key customers, address escalations, and ensure smooth handovers.
  • Collect testimonials, references, and repeat sales opportunities.

Required Qualifications

Graduate/MBA with
minimum 5 years of hardcore sales experience
.

Experience in
solar EPC, electrical, renewable energy, or capital equipment
preferred.

Must have experience handling
both B2B and B2C
sales cycles.

Prior experience managing a
team of at least 10+ members
is mandatory.

Strong communication skills in Odia, Hindi & English.

Proficiency in CRM, Excel/Google Sheets, and field reporting.

Ability to travel all North Odisha ( Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar)
