Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate import items for accuracy and collaborate with customer brokers for clearance while maintaining required documentation
  • Coordinate with CHA and freight forwarders to ensure timely delivery of imported materials to the factory
  • Handle import and export documentation by validating correctness and verifying checklists for filing
  • Follow up with CHA, forwarders, and shipping companies regularly
  • Coordinate with end users or customers to secure timely approvals
  • Resolve queries related to customs and other departments proactively
  • Maintain and regularly update the DSR of shipments
  • Track shipment status and provide timely updates to customers
  • Demonstrate familiarity with DGFT and relevant licenses

Requirements

  • Communicate effectively in English and Hindi
  • Possess mandatory Hindi language skills and proficiency in English
  • Use Microsoft Office (Excel/Word) and Google Sheets efficiently
  • Apply working knowledge of customs processes
  • Draft formal letters and emails professionally
