Job Title: Customer Support Executive – Freight Forwarding

Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu

Experience: 1 – 2 Years

Role Summary:

We are looking for a Customer Support Executive with 1–2 years of experience in freight forwarding or shipping operations. The ideal candidate should possess good communication skills, strong knowledge of shipping documentation and processes, and a customer-focused attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle day-to-day customer interactions and provide timely updates on shipment status.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (operations, documentation, and accounts) to ensure smooth shipment movement.
  • Manage documentation related to export and import shipments (BL, Invoice, Packing List, Delivery Orders, etc.).
  • Communicate with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, and overseas agents.
  • Resolve customer queries promptly and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Ensure all data and records are accurately maintained in the system.
  • Support the sales and operations team with post-booking customer service.

Requirements:

  • 1–2 years of experience in freight forwarding / logistics / shipping.
  • Good understanding of shipping terms (INCOTERMS, documentation, export/import process).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong coordination and multitasking ability.
  • Positive attitude and a customer-oriented mindset.
  • Female Candidates preferred.
