This internship offers a unique chance to gain hands-on experience in the complex world of international pharmaceutical logistics within a GMP environment. You will play a vital support role in ensuring the smooth and compliant movement of critical raw materials, intermediates, and finished APIs across global borders as we prepare for and enter regulated markets. Key Responsibilities:

• Documentation Support:
• Assist in the preparation, review (under supervision), and filing of essential import/export documentation (Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Certificates of Analysis (CoA), Certificates of Origin, Bills of Lading/Air Waybills).
• Support the compilation of documentation packages required for shipments to regulated markets (e.g., ensuring GMP statements, supplier declarations, TSE/BSE certificates are included as needed).
• Help maintain accurate and organized electronic and physical records of all import/export transactions and documentation for audit readiness.

Compliance Assistance:

• Learn and assist with processes related to denied party screening (PEPs, Sanction Lists) for customers, suppliers, and logistics partners.
• Support tracking and verification of Harmonized System (HS) codes and Export Control Classification Numbers (ECCNs) for API shipments under guidance.
• Assist in maintaining records for customs valuation and country of origin determination.
• Help gather information required for preferential trade agreements (e.g., USMCA).

Logistics Coordination Support:

• Assist in coordinating shipments with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers under supervision.
• Help track shipment status proactively and update internal stakeholders (Planning, QA, Sales).
• Support the resolution of routine shipment delays or documentation issues by gathering information.
• Assist in coordinating logistics for quality-controlled samples.

Data Management & Reporting:

• Enter and update shipment data accurately in internal systems (ERP, TMS, trackers).
• Assist in generating basic reports on shipment status, costs, clearance times, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Help maintain supplier/customer master data related to logistics (incoterms, addresses, contacts).

Regulatory Market Entry Support:

• Assist in researching specific import/export requirements for target regulated markets.
• Support the team in gathering documentation needed for new market registrations or customer qualification related to supply chain.
• Help organize information related to customs brokers and logistics partners in new territories.

Process Improvement:

• Participate in identifying opportunities to improve documentation workflows, data accuracy, or communication processes.
• Help update department procedures and work instructions under guidance.

Required Qualifications :

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program (Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Business, Business Administration, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field). Recent graduates may also be considered.

Strong interest in international trade, logistics, supply chain, and/or the pharmaceutical industry.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy crucial for compliance documentation.

Strong organizational and time management skills, ability to prioritize tasks.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and collaboratively within a team.

Eagerness to learn complex regulations and procedures.
