Key Responsibilities
- Workshop Operations Management
- Plan, organize, and supervise day-to-day workshop activities.
- Ensure timely servicing and repair of vehicles.
- Monitor job allocation, productivity, and turnaround time.
- Maintain high workshop efficiency and adherence to standard operating procedures.
- Customer Service
- Ensure excellent customer experience by maintaining service quality.
- Resolve customer complaints quickly and effectively.
- Liaise with service advisors to ensure transparent communication with customers.
- Team Management
- Lead, guide, and motivate a team of service advisors, technicians, and support staff.
- Conduct regular training and skill development for the workshop team.
- Allocate jobs based on skills, workload, and efficiency.
- Quality & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards and dealership policies.
- Maintain high levels of quality control and safety standards.
- Conduct regular audits of tools, equipment, and service processes.
- Financial & Business Targets
- Monitor workshop revenue, profitability, and cost control.
- Achieve service targets including upselling, labor utilization, and spare parts sales.
- Prepare regular MIS reports for management review.
Qualification & Experience
- Diploma/Degree in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
- 5–10 years of experience in automobile service operations, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial/supervisory role.
- Prior experience in a car dealership workshop will be an advantage
