Job Title: Administrative & Clerical Assistant

Location: Kochi, India (Hybrid - Kochi)

Part-Time | Minimum Commitment: 5 Hours/Day (Monday-Saturday)

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Administrative & Clerical Assistant for our office in Kochi, India to support our team with essential administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing forms, legal documents, and related paperwork.
  • Support lawyers with clerical tasks, including document organization, data entry, and file management.
  • Track case progress, maintain records, and keep the team updated on work status.
  • Draft, review, and format emails, letters, and internal communications.
  • Manage schedules, appointments, and follow-ups as needed.
  • Handle basic office administrative duties, including scanning, printing, and organizing files.
  • Coordinate with external agencies and clients as necessary.
  • Perform other administrative and clerical tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelors/Masters degree in any field (No prior legal experience required).
  • Fluency in English (Reading, Writing, and Spoken)
  • Prior administrative work experience in a fast-paced law firm environment preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and email drafting.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Work Schedule

  • Part-time position (minimum 5 hours per day; 2 PM – 7 PM Indian Standard Time - flexible). Opportunity to transition to a
    full-time role
    based on performance and skills.
  • Workdays are Monday-Saturday.
