About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and data-driven Senior SEO Specialist to join our growing team in the EdTech space. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in search engine optimization, content strategy, and technical SEO, with a passion for improving discoverability of educational content and services. This role is key to driving organic growth, increasing qualified lead acquisition, and enhancing brand visibility in a highly competitive digital landscape.

Roles & Responsibilities
:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy to improve search rankings, traffic, and user engagement for all key learning programs and product pages.
  • Conduct detailed keyword research and competitive analysis to identify content opportunities aligned with student search intent and academic trends.
  • Collaborate with the content team to optimize blogs, landing pages, course descriptions, and knowledge base articles for both users and search engines.
  • Lead technical SEO audits and work with product and engineering teams to address site performance, crawlability, indexation, and mobile responsiveness.
  • Monitor and report on SEO performance metrics using tools like Google Search Console, GA4, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog.
  • Create and manage backlink acquisition strategies through guest posts, educational partnerships, and digital PR.
  • Stay updated with search algorithm changes, EdTech trends, and evolving user behaviour to ensure our SEO strategy remains competitive.
  • Work closely with product marketing, content creators, developers, and design teams to ensure SEO is embedded across the marketing funnel.

Requirements
:

  • 4+ years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably with B2C or B2B EdTech platforms or digital learning products.
  • Demonstrated success in growing organic traffic and lead generation in a competitive online environment.
  • Deep understanding of search intent, student journeys, and education-focused SEO tactics.
  • Strong technical SEO knowledge including schema markup, canonical tags, hreflang, site architecture, and crawl optimization.
  • Proficiency with SEO and analytics tools: GA4, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, etc.
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Webflow, or headless CMS.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
