About The Opportunity
Industry: Retail – Consumer Goods & Brick-and-Mortar Stores. Sector: Multi-location retail operations across India serving everyday shoppers with a focus on outstanding in-store experience and commercial growth.

Primary Job Title: Retail Store Manager. This on-site leadership role owns a store P&L, drives sales and margins, and builds a high-performing front-line team to deliver exceptional customer experience and operational excellence.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Drive store sales and profitability by executing merchandising, pricing, and promotional plans to hit weekly and monthly targets.
  • Lead, coach and schedule the store team; hire, onboard and conduct regular performance reviews and training to improve conversion and service quality.
  • Manage end-to-end inventory operations including replenishment, cycle counts, shrinkage control and supplier coordination to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Implement and maintain visual merchandising and store standards to maximise footfall, basket size and product availability.
  • Oversee cash handling, Point-of-Sale operations and daily reconciliations; enforce loss-prevention policies and compliance procedures.
  • Monitor store KPIs, prepare regular performance reports and deploy targeted action plans to improve sales, productivity and customer satisfaction.
