About the Role

Join a high-performing global support team that powers the worlds leading digital workflow platform ServiceNow.

As a Technical Support Engineer Platform Technologies (IC2), youll be the go-to problem solver for complex, platform-level issues, ensuring seamless performance for enterprise customers across the globe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve platform, database, and integration-related issues on ServiceNow.
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for incidents and ensure permanent fixes.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering teams to drive customer satisfaction.
  • Create knowledge base articles and contribute to support process improvements.
  • Participate in weekend/on-call rotations within a 24x7 global support setup.

Must-Have Skills

Strong foundation in Relational Databases (MySQL / Oracle)

Proficiency in Linux/Unix or Windows Server environments

Working knowledge of Web Application Stack (server, browser, DB layers)

Hands-on in Scripting (JavaScript / Python / Shell / PowerShell)

Strong analytical and troubleshooting mindset

Excellent communication and customer handling skills

Good-to-Have Skills

Experience in ServiceNow platform support or administration

Familiarity with ITIL framework

Understanding of SaaS / PaaS support models

Exposure to Splunk or log analysis tools

Passion for learning new technologies and solving complex problems

Logical problem-solving + calm under pressure

Strong scripting or debugging examples in past experience

Clear communication and customer empathy

Demonstrated curiosity for platform technologies

Educational Background

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / IT

OR

Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in technical support or software debugging environments

Candidates demonstrating strong technical fundamentals, clear communication, and customer-first mindset are most likely to be shortlisted.
