, we're looking for a
Key Account Manager (KAM)
who can own growth, profitability, and relationships across leading e-commerce platforms.
As a KAM, you'll take charge of driving revenue growth and profitability across marketplaces, build strategic partnerships, and lead data-driven initiatives that maximize visibility, sales, and brand presence.
Role Overview
You will own the
growth strategy and P&L
of key marketplace accounts. This includes leading negotiations with platform category teams, building joint business plans, and working cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to drive sustainable revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Account & P&L Ownership
- Own sales, revenue, and profitability targets across marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, Quick Commerce).
- Drive top-line growth while optimizing ROI and contribution margins.
Growth & Strategy
- Design and execute
annual/quarterly Joint Business Plans (JBP)
with marketplace teams. - Manage assortment expansion, pricing strategy, and visibility levers to increase category share.
- Analyze key performance metrics and make data-driven decisions to improve GMV and margins.
Performance Marketing & Organic Growth
- Deep understanding of
channel performance marketing
and how to build the
organic flywheel
for sustained visibility. - Optimize ad spends, promotions, and campaigns to maximize returns.
Stakeholder & Partner Management
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with category heads, marketplace leadership, and internal cross-functional teams.
- Negotiate better terms, visibility slots, and growth opportunities.
Operations & Supply Chain Collaboration
- Partner with supply chain teams to ensure efficient inventory planning and avoid stockouts or penalties.
- Resolve operational issues such as
returns, chargebacks, penalties, and disputes
.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience:
4–5 years of marketplace account management (D2C brand experience preferred). - Platforms:
Hands-on experience managing
Amazon, Flipkart, and Quick Commerce
accounts. - Skills:
Strong analytical thinking, negotiation, performance marketing understanding, and relationship management.
