Job Description

Job Summary:

The S&OP Manager is responsible for driving and managing the Sales and Operations Planning process to ensure alignment between demand, supply, inventory, and financial plans. This role will collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Production, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to create a balanced, feasible plan that optimizes resources and meets customer service goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the monthly S&OP cycle, including demand planning, supply planning, and executive S&OP meetings.
  • Align supply plans with demand forecasts, considering constraints like capacity, lead times, and inventory targets.
  • Work with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure feasible and efficient execution of the plan.
  • Drive improvements in forecast accuracy, inventory optimization, and customer service levels.
  • Monitor KPIs such as forecast accuracy, service level, inventory turns, and supply chain efficiency.
  • Present S&OP performance, issues, and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Identify risks and opportunities in supply/demand alignment and develop mitigation plans.
  • Support ERP / planning system upgrades or implementation as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 5-6 + years of experience in supply chain planning, demand planning, or S&OP roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
  • Proficient in Excel and planning tools (SAP APO, Oracle, Kinaxis, Anaplan, or similar).
  • Experience in S&OP process development and facilitation.
