Summary
You will be responsible for the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations. The Area Director of Revenue is responsible to provide revenue accounting leadership and business best practices to the hotel. The Area Director of Revenue has responsibility for all technical accounting aspects of hotel's revenue streams. This role will provide key leadership surrounding the area hotel's revenue recognition policies and will regularly interface with the sales, operations and marketing organizations. The Area Director of Revenue is also responsible for royalty accounting and invoicing.

Qualifications
Ideally with a university degree in Strategic Marketing or Hospitality/Tourism management. An MBA would be an asset. Minimum 2 years work experience as Area Director of Revenue, Cluster Director of Revenue or Director of Revenue. Strategic orientation, as well as good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must.
