Role & responsibilities

HR Operations & Team Management

  • Supervise the day-to-day functioning of HR processes across lab locations
  • Track attendance, leaves, and shift rosters in coordination with phlebo TLs and team leads
  • Ensure proper onboarding documentation, ID proofs, employment agreements, and joining checklists
  • Maintain employee master records and HR files digitally and physically
  • Facilitate timely performance review cycles, feedback, and tracking of KPIs

Compliance & Admin Supervision

  • Oversee and follow up on internal & external compliance processes (ESI, EPFO, BMW, DPCC, NABL, ISO etc.)
  • Coordinate with outsourced vendors/consultants for legal, environmental, and medical board compliances
  • Support proper documentation for inspections, audits, and training records
  • Escalate and follow through on issues related to safety, hygiene, and staff policy adherence

Disciplinary Action & Exit Management

  • Handle staff misconduct, absence, or policy violations with fairness and empathy
  • Draft warning letters, maintain disciplinary records, and guide improvement plans (PIP)
  • Conduct smooth handovers, exit interviews, and clearance documentation for resigned/terminated staff

Engagement & Culture Building

  • Plan and execute internal engagement events, festive celebrations, and staff recognition
  • Drive HR communication (newsletters, birthday/anniversary notes, HR WhatsApp updates)
  • Strengthen emotional maturity and junior-first culture across CCE, Phlebo, and Ops teams

Preferred candidate profile

  • Has prior experience in HR operations in healthcare, diagnostics, or high-discipline service sectors (e.g., labs, hospitals, wellness chains, facility management)
  • Comfortable working on-ground with frontline staff like CCEs, phlebos, and housekeeping/support teams
  • Demonstrates emotional maturity, patience, and firm decision-making in day-to-day staff matters
  • Strong with documentation, checklists, follow-ups, and coordinating with vendors or consultants
  • Believes in balancing empathy with rules, and has handled disciplinary cases and conflict resolution professionally
  • Tech-comfortable: knows Excel/Sheets, digital HR tools, and basic automation
  • Experience using ChatGPT or other AI tools for HR documentation, communication, or admin efficiency is a plus (preferred, not mandatory)
  • Has good written and spoken communication in English & Hindi, including drafting notices, warning letters, event invites, etc.
