Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Sales Assistant for our Chennai office. The ideal candidate will handle customer inquiries, provide product information, process orders, and ensure customer satisfaction. You will manage lead generation, handle inquiries from platforms like IndiaMART, and work with our ERP system to upload inquiries, generate quotations, process sales orders, and create invoices. Familiarity with Microsoft 365 is essential for day-to-day tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide detailed product information.
- Generate, manage, and follow up on leads using platforms like IndiaMART.
- Upload inquiries, create quotations, and manage sales orders in the ERP system.
- Generate invoices and track order updates using the ERP system.
- Ensure timely processing and delivery of customer orders.
- Resolve issues related to orders, deliveries, or products.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, lead data, and sales information.
- Collaborate with the sales and operations teams for seamless order fulfillment.
- Use Microsoft 365 tools (Outlook, Excel, Teams, etc.) for communication and documentation.
- Provide after-sales support and follow-up to maintain high customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- 4-5 years of experience in customer service, sales, or lead generation roles.
- Experience using platforms like IndiaMART for lead generation and follow-up.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, etc.).
- Familiarity with ERP systems for managing inquiries, sales orders, and invoices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Organized and able to manage customer and lead data accurately.
