Position Overview:

With an emphasis on Alternate Investment Funds (AIFs) and Portfolio Management Services (PMS), the Relationship Manager-Sales will be in charge of overseeing and growing distribution sales in the Kolkata area. In order to drive business growth and increase AUM through smart sales activities, the role entails cultivating strong connections with distributors, IFAs, wealth firms, and key clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee distribution sales for the designated area and manage important connections between PMS and AIF products.
  • To increase sales and guarantee customer satisfaction, cultivate and fortify ties with distributors, direct clients, UHNIs, and family offices.
  • Hold client meetings for product discussions, portfolio reviews, and new sales using audio, video, and in-person interactions.
  • Develop, expand, and oversee channel partners to optimize business prospects and expand distribution.
  • Create, create, and apply data-driven solutions to raise AUM in PMS and AIF categories and enhance sales performance.
  • You sustain long-term engagement and loyalty, make sure you follow up with important clients and partners on a regular basis.
  • To guarantee seamless onboarding and post-purchase assistance, collaborate closely with the operations and product teams.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Keep up with competition offers, market trends, and regulatory changes to support sales strategy and offer insights.
  • The ideal candidate will have five to eight years of experience selling financial products and distributing them, as well as a strong network and established connections with Eastern distributors, wealth firms, and IFAs.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage teams and propel business expansion;
  • Preferred expertise: Candidates with Alternate Investments (PMS/AIF) expertise will be given preference.
  • However, experts with senior-level experience from Asset Management Companies (AMCs) might also be taken into account.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and presenting abilities.
  • A keen sense of analysis and the capacity to spot chances for improvement
