About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Talent Acquisition Director to lead hiring across our IT Services and Recruitment Consulting business units. The role demands a leader who can balance high-volume delivery for client projects with quality-driven hiring for internal and full-time positions. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in technology recruitment, staffing operations, and client engagement, along with a proven record of scaling high-performance TA teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership
  • Design and execute a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with Qpact's IT services and consulting growth roadmap.
  • Build and scale both permanent hiring (FTE) and contract staffing delivery functions.
  • Develop and manage client-specific hiring strategies to meet SLAs and workforce plans.
  • Strengthen the employer brand through digital campaigns, campus outreach, and referral programs.
  • Team & Process Management
  • Lead, mentor, and expand a team of technical recruiters, sourcing specialists, and delivery managers.
  • Define robust processes for requisition management, candidate evaluation, and offer governance.
  • Implement ATS and CRM tools for recruitment automation, tracking, and analytics.
  • Drive performance through KPIs like time-to-fill, submittal-to-join ratio, and offer acceptance rate.
  • Client & Stakeholder Management
  • Partner closely with Delivery, Sales, and Account Management teams to align hiring priorities.
  • Engage directly with client HR and procurement stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure smooth onboarding.
  • Manage vendor relations and subcontracting for niche skill sourcing.
  • Ensure compliance with client contracts, rate cards, and labor laws.
  • Executive & Leadership Hiring
  • Lead critical leadership and strategic hiring for internal Qpact teams and client leadership mandates.
  • Provide market insights, talent mapping, and compensation benchmarking for senior roles.
  • Analytics & Reporting
  • Deliver monthly dashboards on hiring performance, pipeline status, and market insights.
  • Use analytics to identify process gaps and propose strategic hiring improvements.
  • Maintain workforce forecasting in collaboration with operations and finance.

Key Requirements

  • 15–20 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, with at least 5–7 years in a leadership role within IT Services or Recruitment Consulting.
  • Proven success in managing both FTE and Contract staffing models.
  • Strong exposure to global and domestic hiring, including India, US, and APAC markets (preferred).
  • Deep understanding of technology skill sets – Full Stack, QA, Cloud, DevOps, ERP, and Support.
  • Excellent leadership, client management, and negotiation skills.
  • Hands-on experience with ATS systems and recruitment analytics tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or related discipline.
  • Certifications in Recruitment, HR Analytics, or Leadership Development (desirable).
  • Prior experience in a fast-scaling IT services or staffing environment.
